Sofia, July 30 (BTA) - In July 2018, Bulgaria's general business climate indicator remains approximately at its level in the previous month, the National Statistical Institute said Monday. The business climate improved in construction, retail trade and the services sector. A worsening was observed only in industry.

The component indicator "business climate in industry" decreased by 2.2 percentage points as industrial entrepreneurs' assessments and expectations about the business situation of their enterprises shifted from "better" to "the same."

The component indicator "business climate in construction" increased by 1.6 percentage points due to more favourable assessments and expectations about the business situation of enterprises.

The component indicator "business climate in retail trade" increased by 0.7 percentage points as a result of slightly improved retailer assessments and expectations about the business situation of their enterprises.

The component indicator "business climate in the services sector" increased by 1.3 percentage points, which is due to the optimistic assessments by managers about the present business situation of their enterprises.
