A Conference entitled "Mountains: Beauty and Challenges" took place here on Monday. The focus is on climate change, its effects worldwide, and its impact on this country’s mountains. Opening the event, France’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Florence Robine said that Bulgarian nature is beautiful. Last year she visited the Seven Rila Lakes and described the route as one of the most picturesque ones she had ever walked.
