The Embassy of Bulgaria in Japan and the Embassy in Oslo also flew its flags at half-mast as a sign of respect and adoration to the memory of Patriarch Neophyte.
"It is with deep sorrow that the Embassy of Bulgaria announces the death of His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte. His legacy of unity, faith and devotion will always be remembered," the team of our diplomatic mission in Japan wrote on their Facebook page on March 15.
On March 15, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Beirut expressed condolences on its Facebook page in memory of His Holiness the Patriarch Neophyte.
