Representatives of the Bulgarian minority in Albania Wednesday visited the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA). Attending the working meeting were Dr Ardian Durmishi, head of the Governing Board of Aleksandër Xhuvani University in Elbasan, and Razi Rama, Chairman of the Golo Bardo Ethno-cultural Sports Association, and EABA Executive Director Rayna Mandzhourova, the EABA said on its website. 

The participants in the meeting discussed future joint projects related to the EABA's initiatives, including Fun Summer in Bulgaria and Spartakiada.

Golo Bardo Association organizes sports events, also focusing on culture, language, preservation of old Bulgarian traditions as well as the typical folk costumes in the Golo Bardo area (Western Bulgaria). Wrestling competitions are organized annually in May and have become a very interesting tradition in the area that has been preserved over time, the press release reads.
