A workshop on choral singing of multi-voice arrangements of Bulgarian folk and original songs will take place in Vienna, the blog of Bulgarians in Austria "Melange Bulgaren" reported.

The classes will last for a week, from January 22 to 27, and will be led by Nikolay Balabanov.

He is a composer, conductor, vocal teacher, musician, singer and active public figure from Peshtera, Pazardzhik region. He works in the field of culture in his hometown and as an artistic director, teacher of folk singing, bagpipe and chamber music, and conductor of a folk choir.

He is a graduate of the National School of Folk Arts in Shiroka Luka and the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, majoring in conducting and composition.
