site.btaBulgaria’s Consulate General in Frankfurt Hosts Exhibition Commemorating Jews’ Rescue Anniversary
An exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews was opened at Bulgaria’s Consulate General in Frankfurt on October 20.
The exhibition is part of the Book Fair in the German city and was opened by Consul General Nedelcho Mihailov, Tsvetina Markova, a teacher at the Bulgarian Sunday school Bukvar told BTA.
„The exhibition, organized by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, complements the Bulgarian participation in the fair. Zigrun Komati, chair of the German-Bulgarian Association in the state of Hesse, gave a very extensive lecture on the topic,” said Markova.
Bulgarian Book Association head Dessislava Alexieva and Bulgaria’s Honorary Consul in Hesse Ingo-Endrick Lankau took part in the discussion.
The exhibition will be on until October 26.
