site.btaFirst Group of Bulgarian Olympians Leaves for Paris

The first Bulgarian athletes to enter the Olympic Village left for Paris Friday morning. Athletes, coaches and specialists from the swimming and gymnastics staffs left Sofia Airport for the French capital.

The first Bulgarian Olympians to enter the Olympic Village today are swimming athletes Gabriela Georgieva, Petar Mitsin and Lyubomir Epitropov, as well as those in gymnastics Kevin Penev and Valentina Georgieva. Swimmer Yosif Miladinov will travel to the Olympics directly from Switzerland, while Epitropov will be a flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony along with boxer Stanimira Petrova.

The next group depart for the French capital on Saturday and includes boxers Stanimira Petrova, Svetlana Staneva, Javier Diaz, Radoslav Rosenov and Rami Kiwan.
