The 23rd edition of the Cor Caroli International Regatta was abandoned earlier than scheduled due to strong winds in Varna, the organizers of the event said on Tuesday.

The wind was above the norms allowed for the regatta, which forced the organizers to cancel the three races scheduled for today in Varna Bay. Thus, the ranking after the 3rd day of the regatta becomes final for its 2023 edition. The award ceremony will take place at Varna Marine Station at 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Final rankings:

ORC A (A) class – yacht "Petra", skippered by Konstantin Vodenicharov

ORC BCP and IRC 2 classes – yacht "Nimana", skippered by Georgi Nikolov

IRC 1 class – yacht "Chocolate", skippered by Misho Kopanov

Conrad R25 class – yacht "Smoke", skippered by Alexander Milev
