at 100-Metre Series
Tokyo, July 30 (BTA special correspondent Dimiter Velyov) - Athlete Inna Eftimova said she was pleased with her performance, but admitted that she could have done a little better in her elimination in the 100-metre series at the Tokyo Olympics.
Eftimova finished in 36th place at 11.46 seconds.
"I put in a lot of work and my emotion is great," she said. "I gave my best. I think I could have done a little better, but I didn't have enough time to acclimatize. But the race is a race for us athletes, so I get the most out of this emotion," Eftimova said.
On Monday, August 2, she will take part in the 200-metre series together with Ivet Lalova-Collio.
"I have two days, so I think I will be ready. I can't wait to run 200 metres again," Eftimova said. RI/DT
