site.btaContemporary Space Research Forum to Kick Off in Sofia on Tuesday

A national forum on contemporary space research will be opened at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia on Tuesday. The event is organized by the Union of Physicists in Bulgaria’s Cosmos Branch and is under the auspices of the Innovation and Growth Ministry, the Ministry said in a press release.

Over three days, between October 22 and 24, opportunities for funding, careers and education in the space sector will be provided. The programme will feature experts from the European Space Agency (ESA) and presentations on successful Bulgarian practices, including of companies funded under Bulgaria's Plan for European Cooperating States with ESA.

The focus of the event, which is being held for the fifth time, is on innovation and aims to strengthen international cooperation to create new business partnerships.
