site.btaTourism Ministry Reports Increase in Spa Tourists by 12% in 2023
Between the beginning of the year and August 20, 720,000 spa tourists were registered in the country, which was an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year, said Deputy Minister of Tourism Irena Georgieva to journalists in Pamporovo. The majority of visitors to spa destinations were Bulgarian tourists, but there were also guests from Israel, Germany, and Great Britain.
