In the third quarter of 2022, the number of unemployed persons in Bulgaria was 122.5 thousand, of which 70.8 thousand (57.8%) were men and 51.7 thousand (42.2%) were women, reported the National Statistical Institute. Compared to the third quarter of 2021, the number of unemployed decreased by 18.7%. For the same period, the unemployment rate decreased by 0.9 percentage points and reached 3.7%.
