Bread price cuts are far less significant than what was promised and what consumers expected. A volatile economic situation this coming winter would cause bread and flour prices to rise again and would bring consumers back to where they were in the early summer, according to an express survey conducted by the Institute for Social and Trade Unionist Studies (ISTUS) at the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) between August 29-31, 2022, the Confederation reported on Tuesday.
