The tenth edition of the Master of Art Festival presents two premieres this week, organizers said Tuesday.
BAFTA award-winning British filmmaker Margy Kinmonth is coming to Sofia for the world premiere of her new film War Paint on February 20 as part of the festival. The production presents the female perspective on war through the prism of art and raises the question of what ladies can see that men cannot.
American designer Jeff Garner will present his directorial debut at the international arts documentary festival. The premiere of Garner's film Let Them Be Naked is on February 21 at the Odeon cinema in Sofia. The film is a bold exploration of the presence of toxic and harmful chemicals in the fabrics and materials used in our everyday clothing.
More than fifty films are in the programme of the tenth edition of the Master of Art festival, which began on February 7. The MaxiM Hall at the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) hosts free screenings of films from the festival programme for journalists. The award ceremony is on February 26 in Vivacom Art Hall at 5 Oborishte Street, the organizers said.
