Symphony music enthusiasts filled the Maestro Georgi Atanasov Hall in Pazardzhik on Sunday for the final concert of the 50th edition of the Winter Musical Evenings – Prof. Ivan Spasov International Festival.

Under the baton of Maestro Jin Baek from the Republic of Korea, the Pazardzhik Symphony Orchestra performed Symphony No. 5 Reformation by Felix Mendelssohn, which was the grand finale of the rich programme of the prestigious cultural event.

Earlier in the evening, the audience applauded violinist Desislava Cholakova, who was born in Pazardzhik. She was guest soloist in the performance of Violin Concerto by Aram Khachaturian.

Although the festival has ended, both the participants and their fans expressed a hope to meet in the next edition.

This year, each festival evening featured musicians and singers born in Pazardzhik who have achieved remarkable success on national and international stages, including Emanuil Ivanov, Gergana Rusekova, Mario Nikolov and Desislava Cholakova.

The event was organized with support from the Ministry of Culture. The festival has earned a reputation as being one of the most significant classical music events in Bulgaria, preserving the town's traditions and cultural identity, as noted by Pazardzhik Municipality.
