The A to JazZ festival starts on Thursday in Sofia and expects over 30 artists from four continents, the event team announced. There will be original music from the USA, France, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, Congo, Benin, UK, Morocco, Turkiye, Greece, China and other parts of the world.
The first day is dedicated entirely to talents selected to present their musical projects this year among more than 200 artists from 29 countries. The festival will introduce twelve of them to the audience.
The festival park [next to the Hilton hotel in downtown Sofia] also welcomes visitors with a number of all-day activities - the traditional art zone with the most artists and exhibitors of all editions so far, installations inspired by the urban environment and culture, as well as children's educational musical encounters, sports activities to jazz rhythms and jam sessions in the Toplocentrala cultural venue.
