site.btaFourth National Comics Exhibition to Be Held in Sofia

The fourth national exhibition of Bulgarian comics will be held in the expo area at Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) Headquarters, 6 Shipka Street, Sofia, between May 10 and June 3. Sofia Comics Expo 2024 will highlight history comics and will feature more than 100 authors, UBA said on Tuesday.

The exhibits will be divided chronologically into three groups: 1930s to 1944, 1945 to 1990, and 1990 to the present.

In addition to comics on historical subjects, the show will present westerns and science fiction comics, artist Alexander Vachkov said. Some of the works are in humorous style. The aim is to present "the infinite variety" of this art form, he added.
