An exhibition titled "The New Telescope at NAO, Children, and Space" will be unveiled at the Sofia Library on April 11. The event is dedicated to the International Day of Human Space Flight, April 12, said the Institute of Astronomy with the National Astronomical Observatory at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IA with NAO-BAS).

The exposition includes the first images of cosmic objects taken with a new 1.5-m telescope of the Institute of Astronomy at NAO Rozhen and artworks by fourth-grade students inspired by them.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a presentation of a book by Alexander Kurtenkov, a postdoctoral researcher at IA with NAO-BAS. The book is intended to serve as an astronomy guide and presents images of some of the most spectacular astronomical objects, the IA with NAO-BAS said.
