Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Vietnam’s Communist Party General Secretary To Lam on Friday visited a Bulgarian company manufacturing unmanned aircraft systems, the president’s press secretariat reported. To Lam is visiting Bulgaria at Radev's invitation.

The two leaders held a meeting with the management of Samel 90 and observed the production process of unmanned aerial systems on-site. The company’s radio jammers, anti-drone systems, and armored vehicles were also presented.

Radev said that the Bulgarian defence industry, which has proven its quality and received international recognition, provides excellent opportunities for establishing successful partnerships and deepening bilateral cooperation with Vietnam in the field of security.
