site.btaPresident Radev to Visit Saudi Arabia for Future Investment Initiative Forum

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia, where, at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, he will take part in the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII9) forum in the capital Riyadh, Radev's press secretariat said on Sunday.

The international forum brings together heads of state and government, politicians, investors, business representatives and innovators from around the world to discuss global challenges as well as opportunities for investment and economic development.

On Monday, October 27, President Radev will meet with members of the Bulgarian community in Saudi Arabia. The reception will take place at the Bulgarian Embassy in Riyadh.

On Tuesday, October 28, the Bulgarian President will attend the official opening of FII9 and later the same day will participate in a discussion on the cost of economic security.

During the international event, the President will also hold bilateral meetings at high and top political levels.

The Future Investment Initiative is organised by the FII Institute, a non-governmental organization focusing on topics such as advanced technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence, education, healthcare and sustainable development. The forum forms part of Saudi Arabia’s strategic plan for economic development and modernization, known as Vision 2030.

President Radev will be accompanied in Riyadh by his wife, Desislava Radeva.
