If President Rumen Radev enters the National Assembly, the Velichie parliamentary group would 100% support him, leader Ivelin Mihaylov told journalists here on Friday. According to him, the head of State  is "the most proven political figure at the moment."

There is a possibility that the political situation could change in new elections, he added. GERB leader Boyko Borissov could be a real opposition, showing what the opposition should be, and Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) leader Delyan Peevski could be thrown out of politics, Mihaylov said. "We have never been in such a good starting position," the MP noted.

Regarding Thursday's rejected motion of no confidence in the Government, Mihaylov commented that Borissov had broken away and did not vote. "There were other people who wanted to change their vote, but they obviously failed to overcome the suffocating grip of the MRF on GERB," he added.

Regarding Friday morning's statement by Peevski to Borissov, Mihaylov commented that "Peevski is now giving orders to Borissov as well."
