The Constitutional Court said on Tuesday that it has admitted for review a petition, challenging the constitutionality of a decision by the National Assembly dated May 9, 2025, regarding the election of a chairperson of the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
The petition was submitted by 58 Members of Parliament from the 51st National Assembly.
The decision to admit the case was unanimous. All twelve constitutional judges took part in the session, according to the statement.
