site.btaDeputy PM Donchev, French Ambassador Discuss Investments

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev and French Ambassador to Bulgaria Joel Meyer discussed possibilities to attract French investors to the Bulgarian economy and ways to improve the local business environment, Donchev's ministry reported through its official Viber channel on Wednesday.

The talks were also attended by French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Stephane Delahaye and the Chamber's Director Vessela Todorova-Mosettig.

The sides underscored the good relations between Bulgaria and France and the advantages of Bulgaria as an investment destination. They discussed this country's industrial development and financial instruments for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Donchev and Meyer talked about Bulgaria's Recovery and Resilience Plan and Sofia's ambition to implement all projects which are at risk of dropping out of the plan.
