Lufthansa Cancels Flights to and from Sofia due to Munich Airport Strike

Due to a strike at Munich Airport in Germany, the Lufthansa air carrier has cancelled several flights to and from Sofia Airport Vasil Levski, Sofia airport told BTA.

The following flights have been cancelled:

February 27:

LH1702 (Sofia – Munich) at 11:00 a.m.
LH1703 (Munich – Sofia)
LH1706 (Sofia – Munich) at 8:45 p.m.
LH1707 (Munich – Sofia)
LH1704 (Sofia – Munich) at 4:10 p.m.
LH1705 (Munich – Sofia)

February 28:

LH1702 (Sofia – Munich) at 11:00 a.m.
LH1703 (Munich – Sofia)
LH1706 (Sofia – Munich) at 8:45 p.m.
LH1707 (Munich – Sofia)

Flight LH1707 from February 27 will depart on March 1, according to Sofia Airport.

Sofia Airport Vasil Levski urges all affected passengers to contact Lufthansa for more information and ticket rebooking options. Travellers can also check the airport’s website and Lufthansa’s official channels for updates.
