site.btaBulgarian, Spanish Special Forces to Showcase Combat Skills in NATO Steadfast Dart – 2025 Drill

Bulgarian and Spanish special forces personnel participating in NATO's Steadfast Dart - 2025 (STDT25) exercise will demonstrate combat capabilities, weaponry, and equipment on Thursday, February 13, at the Tsrancha Training Complex, Pazardzhik Region, South Central Bulgaria, the Ministry of Defence said here on Wednesday.

During the demonstration for guests and media, attendees will witness operations like infiltration using the fast rope insertion, locating, identifying, and neutralizing a high-priority target, providing air support, and conducting evacuation. The tasks will involve Vamtac ST5 combat vehicles, two Spanish NH-90 helicopters, and a Bulgarian Air Force Cougar helicopter, among others.

Representatives from the Ministry of Defence's military leadership, Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFCN), NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Italy (NRDC-ITA), and NATO Allied Reaction Force (ARF) will observe the actions of the military personnel.
