In a statement, Continue the Change (CC) described the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) to return the case against the election of Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev as a "denial of justice" and called on the institutions to work in the name of the law and the citizens of Sofia. The position of the CC was sent by the press centre of the party on the occasion of Friday's decision of the SAC by which the case against the election of Vasil Terziev as mayor of Sofia was sent back for a new consideration at first instance.

The CC's position identifies the court's arguments as "vague" and largely "invalid." The CC points out that the expert vote count requested by Vanya Grigorova again proved Terziev's lead of over 5,000 votes, with the experts finding even more votes in his favour.

"For us, the refusal to decide on the merits of the case in the face of clear evidence is a denial of justice and an attempt to keep the mayor of Sofia in a state of uncertainty," the position paper said.
