site.btaPatriarch Daniil Receives Kazakhstan's Ambassador Temirbayev

Patriarch Daniil of Bulgaria received Kazakhstan's Ambassador Viktor Temirbayev at the Synodal Palace on Thursday, the Bulgarian Patriarchate said.

Ambassador Temirbayev congratulated the Patriarch on his election and enthronement, and laid an emphasis on the fine relationship between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan, in economic as well as in cultural terms.

The meeting was attended by Metropolitan Gregory of Veliko Tarnovo and the Secretary General of the Holy Synod, Bishop Gerasim of Melnik.

At the end of the reception, Patriarch Daniil presented a commemorative coin to the diplomat on the occasion of the centenary of the consecration of the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
