Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) will propose candidates for the regulators and will insist on their hearing and the holding of fair competitions, said Kiril Petkov, CC co-chair Thursday.

"We have always maintained that it is very important for us to have fair competitions, not to rush, to listen to all candidates, not to have backroom deals", Petkov pointed out.

He added that CC's appeal to the government is to have a full hearing of the candidates, Kiril Petkov said, adding that these will be the people who will exercise the so-called permanent power in the next five to seven years. "For them we should have a full hearing, fair competitions, no agreements", he said. "That is what we will demand and our candidates will not be on the basis of negotiation".

He also commented on the appointment of Galya Dimitrova (former director of the National Revenue Agency - ed.) as deputy finance minister, who, in his words, publicly stated on the air of one of the national TV channels that the NRA was used as a 'bludgeon'. "We cannot support such people", Petkov said, adding that this cannot be the new deputy finance minister.
