GERB leader Boyko Borissov discussed deepening cooperation with Hungary during a meeting with the Minister for National Economy of Hungary Marton Nagy in Sofia on Monday. Borissov posted about the meeting on his Facebook page.

"Bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Hungary are developing at a very good level. Together we can deepen them in a number of areas and key sectors such as energy, economy and infrastructure," Borissov said in connection with the meeting. "I took the opportunity to once again express my gratitude to Prime Minister Viktor Orban for the leadership of the Hungarian presidency in the process of Bulgaria's accession to Schengen," Borissov wrote.

On December 20, Viktor Orban visited Bulgaria at the invitation of President Rumen Radev. Then he also met with GERB leader Boyko Borissov.
