site.btaSupreme Judicial Council's Prosecutors Chamber to Elect Deputy Prosecutor General

The Prosecutors Chamber of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) is scheduled to meet on Thursday for its first session this year. From the agenda, published on the institution's website, it is clear that a proposal by acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov to appoint Vanya Stefanova as his deputy will be voted on. 

Stefanova currently heads the specialised department at the Supreme Prosecutor's Office.

In addition, the agenda also includes a draft decision on the opening of procedures for the election of administrative heads of bodies in the Judiciary.
