President Rumen Radev will on Tuesday confer the head of State's Honorary Sign on Rear Admiral Rumen Popov and Vice Admiral Plamen Manushev for their faithful and meritorious service in the Bulgarian Army and for their significant contribution to the development and strengthening of the Bulgarian Armed Forces, the President's press secretariat reported.

The award ceremony is also on the occasion of the upcoming anniversary of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, which was established on January 9, 1881.
