site.btaParliament Opens New Plenary Session

The 51st National Assembly opened its second session to the anthem of Bulgaria and of the European Union. The first regular sitting after the Christmas and New Year holidays started about 10 minutes late. 

On the occasion of the start of the new session, National Assembly Chair, Nataliya Kiselova, wished the MPs health, happiness and success. “Let us hope for a better year ahead for each of us and for the Bulgarian citizens,” she said. 

At the beginning of the sitting 228 deputies registered. While the anthem of the European Union played, MPs from Vazrazhdane remained seated.
