site.btaBurgas Municipality to Use Bulgarian AI Application BgGPT

The Bulgarian artificial intelligence application BgGPT, developed by the INSAIT Institute at the Sofia University, will be used in the local administration, with the Burgas Municipality the first to introduce it, said the press centre of the Education and Science Ministry on Friday.

Burgas Municipality already uses artificial intelligence in its work processes, but so far this has been done by purchasing packages from foreign companies. Now the Bulgarian artificial intelligence application will be implemented in its system, which will guarantee the security of the data, while at the same time achieving much higher productivity and accuracy of the results, the Ministry added.

BgGPT will present all decisions of the Burgas Municipal Council in a synthesised form to the residents of the seaside city, indexed by different topics and sessions. This will help residents to be better informed about the decisions made by the Municipal Council and at the same time find information on topics that directly affect them, the Ministry noted.

Along with this, a chatbot with artificial intelligence will be created on the website of the municipal administration, which will redirect to the correct electronic service or directly provide information to questions by residents.
