Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast Stiliana Nikolova has won the bronze medal in the women's all-around event at the 2025 World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, qualifying for Sunday’s finals for all four apparatuses.
Nikolova, who won gold in the all-around at the 2024 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, finished with a total score of 113.150 points (29.700 points with the hoop, 28.900 points with the ball, 27.250 points with clubs, and 27.300 points with the ribbon).
Italy’s Sofia Raffaelli, the 2022 World all-around champion and bronze medallist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, won the gold with a score of 113.400 points. Ukraine’s Taisiia Onofriichuk, who won the all-around at the season’s opening World Cup in Sofia, came in second with 113.250 points.
Stiliana Nikolova placed among the top eight, ranking first in both hoop and ball, seventh in clubs, and fifth in ribbon.
Bulgaria’s Dara Stoyanova placed 17th after earning a total of 103.000 points (23.550 with the hoop, 26.200 with the ball, 26.700 with clubs, and 26.550 with the ribbon). Stoyanova ranked ninth with the ball, 13th in both clubs and ribbon, and 39th with the hoop.
In her season debut, 2024 Olympic champion Darja Varfolomeev of Germany placed fourth with a score of 111.300 points.
The competition in Baku features 65 individual gymnasts and 14 ensembles.
