Traffic is normal at all border control check points with Turkiye, North Macedonia, Serbia, Greece, and Romania, the General Directorate Border Police reported on Saturday morning.

Transit through the Malko Tarnovo border crossing point with Turkiye is taking place only in one lane due to the checkpoint being reconstructed.

Construction works are taking place at the Rudozem - Xanthi route on the Greek side. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the areas near Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

The Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is undergoing major repairs and a temporary traffic organization has been put into operation. The traffic goes through one lane with a through-traffic regime. Traffic is normal at the other border crossings with Romania.

On the Greek side, construction works are being carried out at the Rudozem - Xanthi border checkpoint. The Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed on the site.

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, reconstruction work continues at the Stanke Lisichkovo checkpoint, resulting in restricted traffic lanes. Traffic at the other border crossings with North Macedonia remains normal.
