Vazrazhdane has started talks on a potential government with the political forces in parliament, excluding GERB-UDF, MRF (Movement for Rights and Freedoms) - New Beginning and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF), the party's press service reported. Invitations have been sent to all other formations in the 51st National Assembly.

Vazrazhdane's proposal is to hold meetings in the National Assembly on Wednesday as follows: BSP - United Left at 2 p.m., with There Is Such a People (TISP) at 3 p.m., with Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) at 4 p.m. and with Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) at 5 p.m.

Vazrazhdane will be represented by its leader Kostadin Kostadinov and the MPs Tsoncho Ganev, Peter Petrov, Iskra Mihaylova and Svetoslav Todorov.

The far-right party pointed out that Vazrazhdane, CC-DB, BSP - United Left, TISP and MECh constitute a majority of 122 MPs (out of 240) in the National Assembly. "If all the parties that have declared their intentions to fight the corrupt thug-oligarchic model of governance of GERB and MRF stand by their words with deeds, there is no obstacle to forming a regular cabinet without these parties of the status quo," Vazrazhdane's press release reads.

So far, MECh have confirmed that they will attend the meeting with Kostadinov's party. CC-DB said that it would not enter into any negotiations with Vazrazhdane to govern the country.

While GERB-UDF and CC-DB, the first and second biggest entity in Parliament respectively, both held talks with other political formations, they are yet to meet each other.

CC-DB held talks with MECh, ARF, TISP and BSP - United Left in search of support for their proposed declaration for a "sanitary cordon" around MRF (Movement for Rights and Freedoms) - New Beginning and its leader Delyan Peevski.

GERB-UDF met with BSP - United Left and TISP as an attempt to reach an agreement on joint legislative action in parliament.
