site.btaGERB Leader Borissov Confers with Turkish Ambassador Uyanik

In a Facebook post, GERB leader Boyko Borissov said he has conferred with Turkiye’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Mehmet Sait Uyanik on October 29, which is the country’s national holiday (Republic Day).

Borissov added that he has extended special greetings to Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Uyanik congratulated GERB-UDF for their victory in the snap parliamentary elections on October 27 and voiced hope that a stable regular government will be formed in Bulgaria, Borissov’s post further reads.

The leader of GERB and the Turkish Ambassador also discussed bilateral relations and agreed that there are preconditions for their expansion in all spheres of public life.
