At a briefing at the Novo Selo training ground on Monday, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said: "I think that we have done our job, I did not hear any too startling facts regarding the holding of the elections."

Glavchev added that saying that there was no vote buying would be an illusion. "But I think that we managed to counteract within the framework of the law," he added. The Prime Minister noted that over 3,500 voting machines had been inspected in the past week, compared to over 660 in the previous election, while less than 100 machines had been inspected in election before that.

"I hope that the political forces will make every effort to form a stable regular government," said Glavchev.
