Border police officers have found 18 illegal migrants hiding in a secret compartment of a Polish-registered van, driven by a 23 Bulgarian, the Border Police reported.

The van entered Bulgaria on Tuesday afternoon after a short stay in Turkiye. The police officers found out that the van was suspected in illegal migration activities and was subjected to an X-ray check. The 18 men were found hiding in a special compartment without any ID documents. The driver and the migrants have been detained. Work on the case continues.
