Nobody wants a government except GERB-UDF. The tactics of the other parties is to continue this attrition, said GERB leader Boyko Borissov in Vidin, where the coalition lists for Vidin and Montana were presented to supporters and party members.

In his words, the only ones who will succeed in this case are those who want Bulgaria not to be strong, not to be an equal member of the European Union (EU), not to be in Schengen, not to enter the eurozone.

The protests four years ago started the day GERB brought Bulgaria into the eurozone waiting room and into the European Banking Union, Borissov said. They were started by the same ones who want no government, the economy to keep going down, and investors to flee, he added.

He stressed that if GERB does not win by a large margin, the elections will be repeated in three or four months.

The meeting was attended by the top candidates of the lists of GERB - UDF in Vidin, Rositsa Kirova and in Montana, Rumen Hristov, Montana Mayor Zlatko Zhivkov, Mladen Marinov. The candidates for MPs in Vidin and Montana were also presented.
