President Appoints Kadrinka Kadrinova as Member of Council for Electronic Media

Head of State Rumen Radev signed on Monday a decree appointing Kadrinka Kadrinova as a member of the Council for Electronic Media from the quota of the President, the press centre of the head of State said.

Kadrinova is one of Bulgaria's established international journalists. She was born in Rome. She graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Sofia University, and has more than forty years of continuous experience as a journalist in the media.

She has worked in the newspapers Narodna Mladezh, Dialog, 24 Chasa, Sega, Monitor, was deputy editor-in-chief of the Tema magazine, editor of the Horizon programme of the Bulgarian National Radio, commentator on the Baricada website, responsible editor of the website of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists. Kadrinova is the author of thousands of publications that have appeared over the years in these and many other media. Long-time president of the Association of Spanish-Speaking Journalists in Bulgaria. Member of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists and the Union of Bulgarian Writers.

Kadrinova has won a number of national and foreign journalistic and literary awards. She has been awarded the Order of Friendship by Vietnam (2010), the Order of Friendship by Cuba (2012) and the Officer's Cross of the Order of Civil Merit by Spain (2017).
