site.btaDeputy Foreign Minister Kondov Confers with Newly Appointed Belgium Ambassador

Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov received copies of the letters of credence of the Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Belgium, Paul Lambert, here on Friday, Kondov's Ministry said in a press release.

The two commended highly the state of bilateral relations and committed to build on cooperation on key issues, both bilaterally and within the EU, NATO and other international formats.

They also expressed mutual desire to deepen partnership in the business sector, bilateral trade, investment, science and education.

The conversation also covered questions concerning Bulgaria's accession to the OECD, the eurozone and land-border Schengen and the arrangements for the forthcoming early parliamentary elections.
