The decision by the Sofia City Court to enter changes in the leadership of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) into the public register has been referred to the Supreme Court of Cassation for appeal, Sofia City Court's press service said on Wednesday. The appeal was filed by Krum Donchev, a member of BSP’s National Council.
As BTA previously reported, Sofia City Court registered changes in the BSP docket on July 10. These changes struck off Korneliya Ninova as the party leader and representative. The party is now represented by deputy chair and acting leader Atanas Zafirov. The court refused to enter Zafirov as the party leader until a BSP congress holds an election.
