The Council of Ministers Wednesday adopted a decision approving a Memorandum of Understanding between NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and the Bulgarian Defence Ministry on the appointment of a National Liaison Representative of Bulgaria to the Headquarters of the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT), the Government Information Service said.

The draft of a new Memorandum of Understanding takes into account the changes in the security environment that require an update of the financial and administrative conditions for the assignment of Bulgaria’s National Liaison Representative to HQ SACT. The changes are mainly related to the provision of communication and information services and the relocation of the offices of the National Liaison Representative to a new building, the Government Information Service added.
