1921: Alexander Stamboliiski's Government sets up Russian Refugees Committee, chaired by Metropolitan Stefan of Sofia.
1935: Georgi Kiosseivanoff forms non-party cabinet of civilian and military members implementing the King's policies (in office until July 4, 1936).
2001: In Budapest, Bulgaria signs Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime (effective July 1, 2004).
2001: First temporary US military base in Bulgaria is opened at Burgas Airport to support Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
2004: Bulgaria's Civil Aviation Administration is admitted unanimously as full member of Europe's Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA).
2005: Bulgarian Association for Card Payment Security is set up in Sofia

On this date in Bulgarian history:
1879: Prince Alexander I decrees dissolution of 1st Ordinary National Assembly after Petko Karavelov fails to form Liberal and Conservative coalition cabinet.
1943: Ten persons are killed and 19 wounded in second Allied air raid of Sofia during World War II.
1944: Statutory Ordinance on Trial of the Leaders of the Monarcho-Fascist Regime and of the Perpetrators of Crimes Committed against the Bulgarian People between January 1, 1941 and September 9, 1944 is gazetted.
1948: National Art Gallery in Sofia is established by Council of Ministers decree.
1966: TABSO flight LZ101, en route from Sofia to Berlin, crashes shortly after take-off from Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, killing all 74 passengers and 8 crew on board.
