Veliko Tarnovo University donated 330 children's books to Bulgarian schools across Europe, the University said on Facebook on Friday.

The books were officially handed over to the teachers who took part in the Sixth International Erasmus+ Week of Bulgarian Schools Abroad, which took place between June 26 and 28 in Veliko Tarnovo. More than 30 Bulgarian teachers participated in the campaign, taking the opportunity to present their schools, share their work experience with students, as well as to discuss the specifics of the educational process in Bulgarian schools abroad.

The university thanked all who joined the campaign, adding that the donation will reach hundreds of Bulgarian children abroad. The donation is intended for children studying in Bulgarian Saturday-Sunday and all-week schools in Europe, with the aim of enriching the library school funds and promoting children's interest in reading.
