site.btaPM: Income of About 2 Mln Pensioners Will Increase by 11% from July 1

“On July 1 you will all find out that pensions will be increased by 11%”, and as a result of this increase, the incomes of about 2 million pensioners will grow, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said at the beginning of the government meeting on Wednesday.

The average retirement pension will become BGN 971, which is BGN 110 more than last year. A total of 200,000 pensioners will cross the poverty line, Glavchev concluded.
