Movement of Rights and Freedoms Floor Leader Delyan Peevski told journalists Parliament on Wednesday that he is optimistic about the government rotation. He said that he thinks it would a huge mistake if the rotation does not happen. The country is stable at the moment, this rotation should happen and there should be a government, said Peevski.

When asked whether the Minister of Agriculture should resign in view of the protests, Peevski insisted that first Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel should present assessments of the ministers.

Regarding President Rumen Radev's criticism that the ministers are only "pawns", Peevski said that only the head of State has been a pawn so far for two years. On the occasion of the presidential veto on the changes in the Criminal Procedure Code, Peevski commented that the changes are currently being discussed with legal experts. He expects that at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs later on Wednesday, the discussion will continue.

To a question related to a bill proposed by Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria in connection with amendments to the Electronic Communications Act, and the possibility of blocking Internet addresses, Peevski said that such proposals should be handled very carefully.

In connection with the hearing in the Supreme Judicial Council and the data on threats to senior magistrates, Peevski commented that a ad hoc parliamentary committee has been established and he hopes that the whole truth will come to light.

"Colleagues, let's not get hysterical. It is nothing like what has been circulated in the media," Peevski commented on the refugee issue. At the beginning of the plenary session, the parliamentary groups of There Is Such a People and BSP for Bulgaria came out with declarations on the topic.
