Democratic Bulgaria co-chair Hristo Ivanov, who spoke to BTA here on Friday, said that it is a matter of negotiations to determine whose mandate will be used to form a government after the rotation in March.

"This is a matter of negotiations that have not yet taken place. I can assure you that anyone that makes an announcement in one direction or the other is talking in vain. There are no such talks at the moment. They are yet to come," Ivanov said.

He said that two months is a long time in terms of politics, which is why any and all announcements regarding the mandate would be premature.
