On December 11 and 12, Vice President Iliana Iotova will be visiting Paris in connection with the 30th anniversary of Bulgaria's full membership in the International Organization of the Francophonie. The celebrations are under the patronage of the Vice President, the President's press secretariat said.

On Monday, the anniversary will be marked with a concert at the UNESCO headquarters. The show is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the loss of world-famous singer Edith Piaf. The concert, under the patronage of the Vice President, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the French National Commission for UNESCO, also marks the 40th anniversary of the inscription of the first four Bulgarian sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The performance is the work of Vera Shandel and Angel Zaberski Trio. The Edith Piaf's heirs have asked to meet with the Bulgarian Vice President.

On Tuesday, Iotova is scheduled to hold talks with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and with Loïc Hervé, Deputy President of the French Senate and President of the France-Bulgaria Friendship Group.
